Singer Bryan Adam’s lends his apology for his racist tweet ranting about the ongoing lockdown due to COVID-19
Singer Bryan Adams’ who ranted in one of his latest tweet about the lockdown imposed due to COVID-19 pandemic, leading into cancelling of gigs, caught fire on the microblogging site. Though the singer later deleted it as it sounded inappropriate and racist as per the situation across the world, it did become a point of discussion. Followed by his controversial tweet, came his apology explaining his point of view in his latest Instagram post, singing the title track of the album, Into The Fire.
The singer in his song is seen talking about the current scenario where the entire world is waiting for mother earth to be relieved from COVID-19 pandemic. His song talks about current hardships and hopes to rise above from the wild spread fire like a phoenix. The video has an extreme close up of his face from sideways, as he plays his guitar. He began his Instagram post writing, “INTO THE FIRE. Title track from the same album. Apologies to any and all that took offence to my posting yesterday.”
Continuing further he blamed the animal cruelty taking place in the wet markets and also promoted veganism in his post.
“No excuse, I just wanted to have a rant about the horrible animal cruelty in these wet-markets being the possible source of the virus, and promote veganism. I have love for all people and my thoughts are with everyone dealing with this pandemic around the world. Here’s the appropriately titled song that would have been performed tonight at the @royalalberthall,” he added further in his post.
The post that got him under fire is now deleted but the caption to it read, "CUTS LIKE A KNIFE. A song by me. Tonight was supposed to be the beginning of a tenancy of gigs at the @royalalberthall, but thanks to some fucking bat eating, wet market animal selling, virus making greedy bastards, the whole world is now on hold, not to mention the thousands that have suffered or died from this virus."
